Strawberry Cake

1 box white cake mix
1 box (3 oz.) strawberry Jello
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
1 c. sliced strawberries, fresh or frozen

ICING:

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
4 T. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Sliced strawberries, fresh or frozen

Grease and flour (2] 9 in. layer cake pans. Combine cake mix, Jello, eggs, water, oil. Add one cup strawberries and beat well. Bake in 350° 20 to 25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean when inserted in the middle of cake. Cool cake for 15 minutes, remove from pans.

Melt cream cheese and butter, over low heat. Add powdered sugar and stir well. Remove from heat. Fold in strawberries and blend well. If thicker icing is desired, add more powdered sugar. Be very generous in frosting layers of cake, top and sides.
