Lampworking / blowing?

Hello, lately I've been very interested in Lampworking and glassblowing. I'ma bit confused though. I've been trying find a difference between the two and have come to the conclusion that perhaps the work lamp is for the little things? As the bills? And it takes two people for glass blowing, and for that you need 1 to make Lampworking? I would like to work with a torch. I would like to make accounts, but I want do things like small vases, figurines, Christmas ornaments, small cups. etc. Now is this blown glass or lamp work? Am I able to do things with a torch? Sorry if this makes no sense. I've been reading on different websites and I am still new to trying to learn these things. I will buy the Bible soon blown glass, and I am signing up for classes. But in the mean time I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Any knowledge you may have about the subject would be great! Thanks !!!!!!
